Not to be rude - but being a CPA does not necessarily make you business minded. OSRS gold has been around a long time so far as games and applications goes - and even though the customer is bad and obsolete, it's an essential component of the experience of what OSRS for many people. For lots of users, if they upgraded to a new client it would lose individuality and the sense of what is OSRS. Do not piss off your present clients. OSRS has almost no curb appeal for anybody who has not played RS and I'd be missing, if they removed that which made it feel as the OG. I came back because it was just as I remembered it (mostly). When there was a client update I'd be fucking missing and would not feel as inclined to learn that the janky system around again.

Additionally, a third party customer buy-out could result in an increase of third party development which is not what Jagex wants, not just because people will cheat but for safety of its customers and also the company pride. Normally, buying out a company since they made something better to the game than you did isn't going to impress some investor about your inner development team and leadership team. Why didn't leadership also have one made internally and identify this Should they require a client?

Not taken offensively Camertime but I'll reply to your points. Fully admit I tried to validate my opinion. Saying something is integral since it pertains to the first game that has been tried to mimic is a good point. Yet, this version of runescape has changed significantly from that which buy 2007 runescape gold was that does not hold as much weight. Additionally, saying something is obsolete and awful pretty much supports you should probably consider something.
